Over $2 million in grants and scholarships have been "given back" to the community since 1998. Fifteen non profit agencies in the community have placed their endowments under the "umbrella" of MCF.

Marisla Foundation operates its grantmaking program with two full-time staff. Of the hundreds of proposals received each year only a small percentage receives funding. For the convenience of those organizations seeking support, the proposal process is designed to be short and concise. To manage applications more efficiently, the Foundation instituted an online only application system.
